These local wholesale traders in turn supply the garden centres and chain stores. The emphasis of Heideveld’s business activities lies on nursery stock products for the consumer market, but we are also open to other market sectors.
Our intermediary services consist of identifying sales opportunities for nursery stock products in the countries we concentrate on. We are either requested or ordered by growers to do so. Heideveld locates and collects the desired products for foreign buyers, mainly in the Netherlands. If necessary we purchase nursery products in Germany, Italy and, to a lesser degree, Belgium and Denmark.
Suppliers transport their products to six locations located in different parts of the Netherlands. Heideveld collects all shipments and arranges transportation to the buyer abroad.
This way Heideveld pays minimum overhead costs for intermediary services and foreign trade, which results in better margins. This method of working also enables us to offer an excellent service.
